Troubleshooting & detailed instructions

"...Not Opened β€” Apple could not verify it's free of malware"

macOS 26 blocks unsigned apps and scripts downloaded from the internet. Run the included Unblock.command first (right-click β†’ Open With β†’ Terminal). It removes the quarantine flag and launches the installer. After that, all files in the folder will run normally.

"Install.command can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer"

Right-click the file β†’ Open β†’ Open in the confirmation dialog. macOS will remember your choice for this file. Or: open Terminal, drag the file in, press Return.

"Install-Outlook-Windows.ps1 is not digitally signed"

Right-click the file β†’ "Run with PowerShell". If blocked, open PowerShell as Administrator and run: Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope CurrentUser -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned

Logo is missing in received emails

The PNG is bundled with the signature file. If the logo is still missing, it usually means your email client blocks external image references β€” switch to a different client, or host the logo at https://genepic.com/email/genepic-logo.png and update the <img src> in the signature HTML.

Setting the default signature is a separate step

By universal convention (Apple, Microsoft, Google all enforce this), no installer can override a user's default signature silently. After running the installer, open your mail client's Signatures settings and assign "Genepic" to your account.
